If you are approaching Thurso. . .
From the south: We are on the A9–though it’s known as Olrig Street, and sometimes ‘Scrabster Road’, as it passes us. Just follow the A9 through Thurso and as you leave town and look northwards to the Orkneys you will be looking across our park.
From the west: You will be on the A836 which will merge with the A9 about a quarter of a mile to the west of our site.
From the east: You will be on the A836 which will merge with the A9 on the east side of the Thurso River just outside Tesco’s parking lot.
From the north: Unless you are swimming, rowing, or surfing, you will be on the Orkney ferry which makes three trips daily to Scrabster Harbour. Just follow the only road out of Scrabster –which is the A9—and go left toward Thurso when it merges with the A836. You are then just over a quarter of a mile from our park. Note Lidl’s grocery on your right as you approach the park.
